Billionaire - Steem 2.0 - $1.59 - 182

One big investor could help raise the price of Steem.
Imagine a Billionaire On The Steem Blockchain!

It's hard keeping track of competition with Steem in the crypto world although it may not be worth keeping track of.

If steemit is fast to respond and focus on improving things then I do not think they will loose to any kind of EOS blockchain. However, not changing would make it right for a nasty sibling rivalry fight.

I think Steemit is mostly set up fine. I think its anti-investor culture might be hurting it the most.

I think your right. A billionaire would have the capitol to invest one million dollars in Steemit and the resulting Steempower would turn his upvote into a veritable money printing machine. But I don't know if there are any billionaires in crypto, millionaires surely, but billionaires not so sure. But the concept is still valid if it's a millionaire and seeing how Steem is at a low, its attractive from a buy low sell high stand point.
I hope to keep buying Steem at this price, but also hope your right that such an investment will ultimately raise the price of Steem and increase the value of my rewards.

But, will Steemit 2.0 be competition for the current Steemit, or an upgrade?

The EOS Steemit 2.0 will probably be a nograde. lol

Wait, what?

I think the EOS version of Steemit will be worthless.

Better tech will be worthless? Why?

I think the Steem Blockchain has a pretty good setup already. I don't think EOS can do any better.

The black car is definitely better and more expensive looking. You're the second person to suggest @dustsweeper . I'll definitely look into that

Good idea. Right now there is a .02 payout threshold so you would have been better off not upvoting yourself and voting for my blog post so you could maybe have gotten a tiny bit of curation instead of nothing for your self-upvote.

This reply is interesting. I have seen a few Steemians posting Posts entittled test1 and then replying to their own post test1, then self-upvoting both posts. I check on Steemnow and they seem to be getting rewards for this action. Are you saying they are losing out somehow by doing this? Let me see if I can walk through this and please correct me if I am wrong.
So if the upvote their post, they essentially get curation rewards for the post, say 25%, but since they are also the author, they get author rewards of 75%, so does this mean if the are the author and the upvoter that they get 100%? These test posts are not findable on google search, they seem to be under the radar, so no one but the author who upvotes, upvotes them. One Steemian has a who page of test1 and upvotes, but when you google him, you don't see any posts. So he or she has no competition for the curation reward and they upvote very soon in the 30 minute time frame, so I think this increases their author rewards.

Only low Steem power people lose out when they self upvote. Right now a vote less than .02 is worthless by itself. If you upvote someone at say 10% and that is a .01 upvote it is worthless if it is the only upvote.
The payout threshold is seperate from curation stuff. I was talking about the .02 payout threshold.

Like the vote I just made on your comment you should self upvote so you get paid. It could be less than .02. I forgot my vote power % was low. lol

Thanks for the information and the upvote.

yes as myserch stated anything below 0.02 is considered a dust vote and will not pay out to you at the 7 day payout date, it gets turned into dust and is swept under the steemit rug for noone to ever see again.
you can invest in a service like @dustsweeper to make sure you get paid on every upvote you get from people that have less than a 0.03 vote value.

Yes I understand. @mysearchisover had pointed that out to me when I wrote an article about making money for Newbies. I agree that dustsweeper is a very good investment.

I'll keep it in mind. I'm getting conflicting info and people trying to scam. Trying to figure it out but don't want to get taken advantage of either. Thanks for the info

I'd be that person if I had enough to go on; I plan on buying some more steem, but that's more to raise my SP, but if I can, I might try to see what happens when I manage to get more of it. It seems easy to get, once I manage to get onto Binance, that is.

Good luck. There is some shady stuff going on at the exchanges. I think we need an internal market so people can go from fiat to Steem.
