Not a gambler I was captured by this casinos ambience, both on the inside and outside. These 9 life size bronze statues of the impalas, created by Danie De Jager at the entrance of the casino, captures everyone's attention. The expression and detail on these animals demands respect for this artist's amazing gift.

Each room at this Victorian style hotel/casino has its own balcony looking out on this fountain and beautiful garden, you can see the big Fares Wheel which forms part of the entertainment park on the side of the building.

Gambling History:

The first proof of gambling or game of chance was found in the discovery of some ancient Chinese tiles, dated back to 2 300 B.C. Tales of chance has been told since the time of the Ancient Greeks. The game of roulette was started by the Egyptians and the French in 1387 brought the playing cards to existence even Napoleon enjoyed playing the card game “Blackjack”.

This is one of the first slot machines that were used at Gold Reef City Casino.

Amazing details. Wonderfull!

such a wonder full and beautifull city and ur all capture are show more of ur talent nice to see it and with small simple history @crasymumzysa sir

It’s funny — seeing places like Gold Reef City makes you realize how much of casino culture used to be about the atmosphere first and the games second. The architecture, statues, the buzz in the air… it really was a whole event. But for a lot of people today that same thrill has shifted online, just without the travel and dress code. I ended up gravitating toward https://bet365.pro.in/ because instead of trying to recreate a fake “casino ambience,” it focuses on what actually matters when you’re playing now — smooth live tables, fast payouts, and games that don’t lag when the stakes get high. It’s a very different kind of experience, but it still gives that rush where you’re fully locked in and the outside world disappears for a bit, just in a more modern and convenient way.

The black and white photos really capture the architecture, great angles on your shots.
