A gigantic and awe-inspiring Cannon Ball Tree in our local Durban Botanic Gardens. Luckily when we went there, it had a full crop of its’ interesting ‘fruit’ which look like giant nuts, approx 25cm in diameter.

Very interesting and unique tree .. I have never seen anything like it :) Wanted to stop by and say that you for visiting, upvoting and resteeming my Kombucha post .. I appreciate you Friend!!! Have a wonderful rest of your day!! SUNSHINE247

It indeed is an amazing tree, thank you for the comment! A pleasure resteeming your Kombucha post, I'd forgotten about the health benefits, have a problem with acid reflux and someone said I should try it, will now try and find a supplier :)

Hi Friend!!!! Thanks so much for visting today!!!! Most major grocery stores should carry it but if not, here is a like to the supplier of the brand I buy :) http://www.gtslivingfoods.com/

Research it and you will see all of the amazing benefits .. find a flavor that you like and try and drink it every day .. give it a fair chance and I promise, you will see results. My husband used to have acid reflux really bad so bad that he would labor for air while sleeping every single night .. he does not have it any more and has not had it for about a year now :) I would love to hear your results. Thanks again Friend .. I hope I get to see one of these neat trees one day in my lifetime .. SUNSHINE247

Thank you for the info @sunshine247, apparently there is a supplier at a local farmer's market here in Durban. I'm taking medication for the reflux but when I eat the wrong food, I also wake up choking, scary! Been taking Aloe Vera Juice and that has helped somewhat, but Kombucha sounds to have great benefits. Will keep you posted, thanks again :)

I would love to hear about any results :) Love ya Friend!! SUNSHINE247

Sure if one of those fall on your head you are done for!

For sure @marcel1965, my thoughts exactly when we were there, I made sure we all stood out of harms way :)

That looks cool. 25 centimeters!! That is huge and there are sooo many of them :) When I come to Durban again we must go there :):)

Definitely @therneau, awesome sight, we were actually worried we would get bombed by one of these falling down :) It apparently belongs to the Brazil Nut family. Your children will love it there, can feed the ducks and other water birds, time to visit Durban :)
