The role of birds in our lives is difficult to overestimate. We keep beautiful parrots and canaries at home, we raise chickens, ducks and geese, and we hear beautiful nightingales. Birds are always around us in cities, countryside and forests. And how many songs and poems have you dedicated to your feathered friends! And in our country there are many large and small birds, funny and sad monuments and sculptures. Behind each of these pieces is often a moving story or reminder of an important event.

Bird monuments installed in large and small cities of Russia can be divided into three large groups: sculptures with pigeons, storks and other feathered friends.

The dove is a well-known symbol of peace. Monuments with these birds are often directly associated with the end of wars and the reign of peace on Earth. The stork symbolizes the figure of the family and children. And now in order for all the feathered inhabitants of the city.
