he's been racing ama for a while, both as a privateer and a GEICO honda rider. I agree he seems happy and focused at JGR. They are doing great things lately and although im not a Suzuki fanboy i think its great for the sport to see teams and riders like this. The hype for 2018 is starting @stillwater :) bring it ooon :)
