Free Willy is a film from my childhood that I have a large number of positive memories about. This was a beautiful time in my life, and in the early 1990s, studios took the time to create amazing family content.

In today's world of action packed special effects laden films, Free Willy stands the test of time. This is a great movie to watch with your family, and it's heartwarming. The bond between beast and man in times of peril is explored at length.

Thr scene in which Willy the whale jumps over the sandbar was parodied over and over in the early 1990s, and that scene makes the film. I love this movie, and it's actually heartwarming and brings me back to my youth.
