Plot: Halloween night is a time for lots of candy, ghoulish tricks, and frightful encounters. This anthology follows four different stories that all intertwine.. teaching us the true meaning of the holiday.
Reflection: For one reason or another, this movie had a bit of an issue getting off the ground-- being completed in 2007, it sat on the shelf until finally getting a video release in 2009 where it was met with positive reception. Horror anthologies can be a dime a dozen, but Trick r' Treat is a cut above! The Halloween aesthetic and character visuals are amazing throughout the sleek 80 minute run time. Ghouls, monsters, slashers.. it's got it all! Though this isn't exactly "horrific", Trick r' Treat will be the most fun you'll have celebrating Halloween.

Haven't gotten around to seeing Krampus yet but it is on my watch list.
