I saw a film called “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” that sheds light on marginalized or neglected communities.

The movie "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" introduces us to a new perspective and culture. This movie shows how in the midst of poverty, famine and political unrest, a teenager used only education, knowledge and creativity to save his entire village.

The movie we see paints a realistic picture of rural life in Malawi, their traditions, struggles and community bonds. It also teaches us that knowledge and innovation can bring about extraordinary changes not only in developed cities but also in poor villages. The movie taught me new thoughts about humanity, perseverance and problem solving which were new lessons for me. Every part of this movie was a big lesson.

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” challenges some important stereotypes that I understand from watching the film. It breaks down the idea that people in the poorest regions of Africa are technology-averse and helpless, and shows that creativity and knowledge can be born from any environment.

The film proves that poverty can in no way stop talent and that even rural people, given the opportunity, are capable of bringing about big changes in society through innovation. This is revealed through the school students in this film.

I relate the most to the character of William Kamkwamba in this movie. His style of speaking and his technique really captivated me. His technique of learning or learning was a line for any person. He had a strong desire to solve problems.

Even though his father or anyone else in his family did not support him, he kept trying without stopping. His desire to use his knowledge to benefit others despite being in dire poverty and never giving up are the qualities that make his character inspiring and relatable. Truly an inspiration to me.

One message that sticks in my mind through the film is that poverty can never suppress the indomitable efforts of people. Real change starts with a small idea and indomitable effort. That is what I can see from this film. The knowledge and creativity that William gains as a result of his determination and effort can truly save people.
