The allegiance to the political cause is all the media is these days

That and the fact that they are churning out hit pieces so rapidly that they don't even bother to spell check them before they hit the publish button, which is all too common in the aggregator sites that I look at these days.

These days I wouldn't say that I pay a great deal of attention to any news that is political in origin because I only need to know the name of the agency in question to already know what their conclusion is. It has become quite fashionable for certain politicians from certain states to break party lines and do a little bit of the "dirty work" for the other team and we the sheep public tend to eat this up as them being one of the good guys when in reality what really happened was that they are in a state or county that is very split politically, and the politician or more likely their aides, has told them that they need to play both sides to keep their jobs.

Fetterman is a good example of this: Just a few years ago he was one of the most hated Liberal politicians in the United States but now he is a bit of a media darling for the right.

Why? Well because he sided with Trump on a few things and often will parrot conservative talking points. There could be a whole play-by-play about this "evolution" of his but in the meantime I want to focus on how little the news media actually cares about that drivel they push out on a daily basis.

This statement was released by none other than FOX news and while I have no alliance with them either I normally expect them to get their spelling right but nah, they are just as trash as everyone else. "Root" and "route" are not the same word. A spell checker isn't going to catch this because it is not spelled wrong. It is pretty shameful that the largest media conglomerate in the world misses something like this though because I picked up on it right away and I am sure a bunch of other people have as well. Maybe it is intentional and they are hoping the article will gain more traction specifically because of the typo. Who knows.

Here is another "blurb" from the same source and this one is spelled correctly. What I want to point out here is that Eric Swallwell news is really only being reported by the news agencies that you would expect, the conservative ones. I really think I would do pretty well in a "guess the political affiliation of the news agency in question!" contest because before I got to the part that contains the source (New York Post and Fox) I already knew that this was something from a conservative outlet(s).

There is no news anymore. There are only varying degrees of propaganda and seeing all of this so clearly visible these days I wonder 2 things: 1, was it always this way and we just weren't able to figure it out because of the internet? and 2, are there honestly people out there dumb enough to continue listening to these obvious hacks?

I certainly hope the number isn't a big one but who am I kidding. There's plenty of sheep left who would much rather be told lies that please them than truth that actually forces them to think for themselves.
