Nine Inch Nails - Mr Self Destruct - is kind of suicidal.
Slipknot - People = Shit - is quite negavite.
However, none of them, including your choice - Nirvana - I hate Myself ...] is actually nihilistic.
It is better to look for sounds which imply harmonious feelings. Good music should be like a soundtrack for life stream which helps you embed within the Spacetime.
