Delighted your pushing yourself out there to clear all that doubt from your head. The more you do this, the more confident you will become and it will be like a walk in the park feeding the ducks.
Only thing is you have to find your own singing identity, once you have got that, that is when dreams can become reality for singers.
When you listen to Adele or The Beatles you know like in 1 to 2 seconds it is their song even before they started to sing. As their music and voices they have a certain element of an identity that makes them stand out from everyone else.
There`s billions of people doing the same thing, you just got to realise how you can be different and make yourself more enlightening to another people!
Thank you so much for the advice. however I'm not planning to pursue a career in music. I'm doing this just for fun while I'm still writing my next story. I thought by doing this I would be able to express my self. :) Thanks tho. I really appreciate it. :)
