Mixtape Monday no. 6 (Plus an Original Song)

The alternative but soothing genre of Lo-Fi has stolen my heart, and if you read my post a few weeks ago then you'd know this wouldn't be the first time I'm mentioning this genre. This is a good mixtape to listen to when you're daydreaming or doodling, cause personally that's what I'm usually doing while I listen to these electronic and ambient lo-fi tunes.

I post these so infrequently that it doesn't seem like much of a series anymore. But nonetheless, this is my sixth Mixtape Monday! I started this series back when I first joined steemit to share some of my eclectic music finds.

This is quite a special edition of Mixtape Monday because in addition to the usual 5 tracks I share, I'm sharing one of my own. If you listen to the full five songs I link below you'll get a good grasp on where I'm been getting the inspiration for my track "synergy".

A few weeks ago I shared two original songs that I had created and produced and I got wonderful feedback and critiques. I cannot explain how much it means to have strangers on this platform give me a chance and listen to my amateur tracks. When I have time I've been practicing and experimenting with homemade beats and recording sounds throughout my household that I find appealing. It's been a fun learning process and I am only at the start of the start of this journey!

I love making these and looking back on them especially because my music taste is so diverse and it's constantly changing and evolving. Posting these Mixtapes are good way to keep a timestamp of the different songs and music I'm listening to.
