First Air-Televised of the Orchestra and its Graduation Performance at LLCC

Being shown on local or national tv is both an ecstatic and a privilege feeling anyone can have in his lifetime. That's especially if you are featured in a good cause right?

Last summer, we are honored to be chosen by one of the local tv network in our Region to be featured on their daily news.

The news was delivered in our local dialect "cebuano". However, let me have it in English translation to be understood by everyone.

"There are varieties of activities that young people can join in this whole summer just like this group of young people playing different musical intruments here in Lapu-Lapu City."

Reporter: This is the angelic performance of this group known as River of Life Symphony Orchestra using violin, flute, trumpet, piano and other musical instruments showing their excellence in music.

Two of them are the siblings Martin and Celerina Del Rio who said that violin has now already played a huge part on their life. Martin wants to be a Pilot and his sister Celerina aspires to be an Engineer. However, they value more their love for music which serves as their offer to God.

Martin (the lad in the video): If you truly trust in the Lord, playing violin would not really be difficult to do because he is our provider.

Celerina (the girl in the video): This violin is not for man but to God. This is not merely playing the violin and that's it but this is a big thing to God.

Coming from poor families all the way to teaching them for free and to improving their skills, their church is open not just during this summer season but all the time to teach music aspirants students.

Our Pastor (the woman speaking): The question is how will I start this Orchestra, but anyway because the Lord has given me that vision, so He fulfilled it by bringing these children that no one really knows how exactly to play.

Yours truly, I am also interviewed about the Orchestra. The only thing I said was only by his grace, resilience and passion and ofcourse when you study will you achieve this achievement.

On the other note, we were also invited by the Lapu-Lapu City College on their Graduation Day. They asked us to play their Graduation Song entitled "This is the Moment" as they sang it at the last part of the program. Here is the video we've had on their Graduation Song.

We are grateful to God for giving us the opportunity to reached out to the community and bless them with what God has given us. With this, we are even more longing for a productive and an empowered community rising on our area. Thanks everyone and may you be bless by this Kingdom work.

Shalom.
