Over A Year's Worth of Composing, Finished!

Yup, that video above will take you to the completed version of the 3rd album release from that weird band of aliens, thE bEans. If you are not familiar with the "band".... strap yourself in for a ride.

The primary theme behind thE bEans is the use of "alien" language, aka, backmasking. Typically, backmasking is regraded as "illegal" but, it can't be illegal if you aren't hiding anything, as all of the lyrics in each song are presented in forward and reverse. So no messages are actually hidden. The backwards lyrics are the "aliens" native tongue, the primary concept behind this band. Funny thing is, though backmasking is illegal, the big corporate bands still do it and get away with it, I might add. Don't believe me? Go listen to your favorite music in reverse.

To cite some examples of this, the opening track has the phrase, "Hey man, this is great". In reverse, for some odd reason, the phrase becomes, "the Earth is a fagat". Is this an honest appraisal of the alien's view of our planet or just the previous phrase in their native tongue? You be the judge. The song, "This shit has got to go" contains the phrase that was famously uttered by industrial engineer, Jacque Fresco, which backwards, says, "I really hate this shit". Interesting it means basically the same in both forwards and reverse.

We could cite samples of this all day but, just know that the forwards and reversed phrases tend to be back to back in most songs.

So, what genre is this music? Mr. Dreamtree calls it, "corruption" as it is composed of corrupted mp3's and includes all styles of music. Styles include rock, metal, reggae, pop, psytrance, psychedelic, jazz, funk, blues, dubstep, dub, and hip-hop among many others. Some simply cannot be classified, like "Fake Hippie Bullshit" which manages to sound evil without being metal at all. There should be a little something for everyone here. Minus country. There is no country style music on this album but, that could change in the future. If you don't like one song, skip to another. You are bound to find something that catches your ear. This is great music if you like heavy bass and drums.

We do accept donations for the music, since we do distribute it for free. This is a over a year of a man's endless toil we are talking about here. The man was homeless for most of that time. There are links at the bottom of this post that will allow you to make a donation. Just click on the blue colored words then from there, navigate to the upper right for the "Donate" button.

Just Who Are, "thE bEans"?

The "band" is a group of aliens who come to Earth for the purpose of saving humanity through music. However, when the arrive, they come to realize that human bands had already been attempting that same thing for over a half of a century without a positive result. Coming to know that humans ignore important messages that is in music, they decide to get all "tore up" on human drugs and make music that basically satires the idea of making music to save the world.

Pictured, in the middle, is Def the Pot-Smoking Alien who does lead vocals, as well as keyboards and turntable shtuff. To his right is Def the Psychedelic Rasta Alien, who plays an instrument that is a combination of guitar, bass and sitar. He does back-up vocals as well with his sweet, baritone voice. To the left, is Def the Alcoholic Drummer Alien from Hell who gets all of his drum sounds out of a single drum-head and has an evil sounding voice for backup vocals. This conceptual band was intended to be animated, much like Alvin and the Chipmunks or Gorillaz. Sad to say, that is something that may never happen.

If you like bizarre music such as Frank Zappa, Mr. Bungle, Ween, Primus, Captain Beefheart, Shpongle or Ozric Tentacles, then thE bEans might be right for you. Thanks for listening!

Much Weird Love!

Certainly enjoyed this!

also, you can abandon steemit and the internet, that would be great, in fact, but don't abandon art. I hope you get that job and become really comfortable so that you can make your art without any capitalistic pressure to monetize or commercialize your work.

Wish you all the best. Also regards to Mr. Dreamtree.

Thank you for the kind words. The pressure to make "ends meet" is an unbearable weight. That is why I was so fond of Jacque Fresco's The Venus Project. All of humanity would of been freed from labor and the prison the debt-slave system creates. I would be much happier creating all of my work for free.

Oh no, I won't abandon art. I still have close fans who might want more in the future and I am sure this house that comes with this job will have blank walls to fill.

Thanks for the kind words and best wishes to you.

I joined that group you sent me a link to for Discord. Still not sure how to directly message you, though.

Hello @shaman-ra, thank you for sharing this creative work! We just stopped by to say that you've been upvoted by the @creativecrypto magazine. The Creative Crypto is all about art on the blockchain and learning from creatives like you. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon. Steem on!

Thanks, did you happen to hear any of the music? At this point, a mean spirited comment about how the music "sucks" would suffice.
