Hello there! My name is Sergiu. I am from small country between Russia and Poland. Yes, this is Belarus ) All my life I was wondered and inspired by creative side of human nature. I like creativity and respect all it's mabifestations in people. Today I want to tell you about my endless love to music.

From early childhood, I was very interested in what was happening around.
The feeling of space fluctuations - this is one of the gifts and the feelings that are given to us at birth. We live in a world of sounds, that help us to get the inforamtion about what is happening around. Since ancient times, the sounds of people were a means of communication and dialogue with each other, a means of understanding the world and mastering the secrets of nature. Sounds- our unchanging attendants. They act in different ways on a person: they please and irritate, pacify and give strength, caress the ears and frighten by their suddenness. Sound waves carry energy, which, like other types of energy, can be used by man. But the main thing is the huge range of expressive means that speech and music have. All around us is sounds and music.

I became interested in music from early childhood. I played various instruments and graduated from music school, but my choice fell on electronic music. I'm not a composer, I prefer to do the compilation of existing works.

I am a co-founder of Russian label LDS room which promotes emotional multicultural electronic music based on techno, deep house and other styles.

Style I prefer to play is called in many different ways: downtempo, chillhouse, slowdance, chillrave, slowhouse... This is slow rhythms, usually no more than 110 beats per minute. A distinctive feature is a leisurely rhythm, an excellent bass and a powerful groove. This style is now becoming very popular around the world. An interesting fact is that girls like this music almost immediately, maybe because of the deep codes of DNA and nature (:

I think that every mix is a whole story. It should have emotional constituent, should be consistent and arouse interest to each next track. Every music story should be like film, book or play - harmonic and unobtrusive.
I am very anxious to the choise of tracks for the compillation. Search, listening, filtering can take up to several months before I collect everything I need and press the REC button.
I want you to listen this my compilation as you watch a movie. It was recorded after a lon musical depression when I didn't play at parties, didn't visit any clubs but just searched right music and wanted to create something coherent and expressive. Feel it with your body and mind.

I called it OPIUM

One more compilation was recorded specially for Moscow community LevelDva, who were among the first in the territory of Russia to promote multicultural electronic music and called this direction chillrave. Mix includes compositions of talented musicians from Germany, France, Latin America, USA and Africa. The mix turned shaman and deep. Listen and enjoy.

In my future posts I will create music collections with different music genres for you. I will share playlists which help me to work, find inpsiration and do everything I like.
