Deftones Announce Summer Tour with Gojira and Poppy
The summer tour will span 28 cities throughout North America and feature Deftones, Gojira and Poppy.

Deftones
Sacramento band Deftones was formed by Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cummingham and Dominic Garcia in 1988. The alternative metal band went through several lineup changes up until 1993. Sometime between 1990 and 1993 Chi Cheng replaced Dominic as bassist. Deftones latest album is titled "Gore" which was released by Maverick (a Warner Brothers company) on April 8th 2016.

French heavy death-metal act was formed in 1996 by the original name Godzilla and changed their name to Gojira in 2001. The band have received Best Rock Album Grammy nominations for their current album "Magma" which was released on June 17th 2016.

Graphic novelist and Internet entertainer Moriah Rose Pereira (AKA Poppy) was born on January 1st 1995 in Boston. In the summer of 2017, Poppy released her first studio album under her signed label Mad Decent titled "Poppy.Computer." There is just too much to write about her. Look for an upcoming review in a separate post.
