Greetings from Lockdown: SPAIN CORONAVIRUS CRISIS
As you've heard in the news Spain and Italy have been hit hard in the Coronavirus crisis... so being my health frail I started social distancing a month ago but now curfew is mandatory, we are inside our houses, just once a day neighbours clap at the windows for our doctors. I try to remain organized, it doesn't help some other ailments interfere, I so always have some fever anyway so how tell. Truth is that I take immunosupresants and I have several risk factors and I also had its "cousin" SARS back in the day. So taking precautions, staying indoors, I couldn't afford to be a prepper, we don't have masks or anything but standing strong in my fort.
I'm also sad because Spain was already on a frail economical balance, having one of the lowest salaries and highest unemployment rates in Europe, we are now united in this but we are bracing for what's to come and it's so uncertain.

These are indeed strange times and wanted to share this relaxing and rather ethereal cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence from the confinement of my music studio. Lead and piano was performed live and this is the first of some videos I'm recording indoors while living in these times of confinement. Everyone, please, be safe! I hope this version opens your mind to open spaces, to the boundless Universe out and within. All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here in my arms... enjoy the silence! Honestly my anxiety has been working in vicious circles but then I sit at the piano and my soul transforms... so I wanted to share part of that vibe, wish the best to whoever is in distress, or scared, or anxious about it
I hope for a minute or two you can breathe!
This will pass...
And I just hope after it we will value more a coffee with a friend and to know the faces of our neighbours... We will appreciate the silence of a less busy road, the chirping of the birds, the cleaner air too...
