Music Monday (feel free to add your own tracks)
Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture its true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.
That's such a haunting and beautifully melancholy track - very fitting in the circumstances. I'm happy to co-operate and stay indoors for a few weeks in order to save lives, but I loathe the word "lockdown". It makes me think of this:

Hello @natubat I hope you've been keeping well my friend, sorry for the late reply .. but just as I was about to listen to these tracks my #steemit account crashed and I've only just been able to get back online!! Glad you enjoyed my choice this week, I had visions of empty streets and tumbleweed blowing in the winds of change. :) A great choice from your good self this week, iconic! I was lucky enough to catch KRS-One at his gig in Brighton a few years back and he was brilliant .. def up there with my favourite gigs. An excellent choice this week and one that evokes many memories, thank you for sharing and thank you for the music!
Thanks @perceptualflaws. Amazing that you were able to see KRS-One live! Apologies for MY late response - Steemit crashed, and then my entire internet and phone connection was wiped out, due to a bizarre mix-up from my internet provider. I'm still waiting to be fully reconnected (by a new company!). These are trying times!
Hope I have not previously posted this. It is a huge favourite of mine and I dedicate it to all the wonderful fathers past and present. Oh and yours had strong shades of hank Marvin and Apache. Don't get cabin fever ;)

Anyway, I copied and pasted my reply when it wouldn't let me leave it so here it is: Hey my friend, I hope that you're well and comfortable at home for a while! :) If someone had told you at the beginning of the year, you'd be locked down in your hours three months down the line, would you have believed me? No cabin fever here I'm pleased to report .. yet! lol you definitely haven't posted it, but I'm glad you did tonight .. a lovely song, thank you for sharing and thank you for the music! :)
