Finding My Inner Voice on my saxophones: A Journey with my Syos Signature Mouthpieces

After years of tirelessly searching for the perfect saxophone mouthpiece, I can finally say I’ve found it.

Every saxophonist knows the eternal quest for that elusive “Holy Grail” — a mouthpiece that resonates with their inner sound and style.

While many established brands offer remarkable products, few truly meet the unique expectations of every saxophonist.

For me, the search always felt incomplete, a never-ending voyage without a beacon to guide me toward the sound I longed to achieve.

Now, here we are ...

Me and the extraordinary team at Syos.

I finally discovered my musical identity through their innovative designs.

My experience with them was a revelation, especially after engaging in mind-opening discussions with the wonderful Pauline.

Her patience and willingness to explore my sometimes wild ideas led us to a groundbreaking resolution: my very first patented mouthpiece for soprano saxophone was born.

I am incredibly grateful to have crossed paths with Pauline and the Syos team.

Reflecting on a story I heard — about someone suggesting that “maybe a kid will play on her toys’ mouthpiece ideas” — I realize I’ve embraced my “inner child.”

Thanks to Syos, I've unlocked a treasure trove of sound possibilities, transforming my music into something truly unique.

This journey has not just been about finding a mouthpiece, actually it has been about finding my inner voice on my saxophones.
I am excited to see where this path leads next.
