Browser extension
  • Two alternative methods for integer base conversion using matrix multiplication instead of long division, making them highly parallelizable.
  • The first method converts between bases offset by N (e.g., base 10 to base 9) by multiplying a number matrix by Pascal's Triangle raised to the ±N power.
  • The second method converts between bases that are multiples of each other using a diagonal transformation matrix with consecutive powers.
  • These patterns were rediscovered through reverse-engineering by analyzing digit conversions before finding the mathematical solution.
  • The first method is identified as a "Polynomial Taylor Shift" (Binomial Matrix) and the second as "Radix Conversion via Substitution"—known in computer algebra but rarely taught.
  • Applying the Binomial Matrix specifically to integer base conversion is a unique perspective rarely found in textbooks.
  • These methods excel when batch-processing thousands of numbers simultaneously, making them practical for blockchain indexing and similar use cases.
