Monsanto: the village of the date and come rock
City between rocks, this is the will of man that do not know the impossible, is a charming town of its houses carved between the rocks, it's Monsanto village in Portugal built by man hundreds of years ago stand tall as testament to the capacity of the capacity of man.
The Portuguese authorities have turned the village into a museum with the aim of preventing any construction work new to keep the identity of the historic village that still keeps its natural beauty for hundreds of years.
This village away from the city of Salamanca, the Spanish resolution is 160 km and characterized by difficulty of access as a result of difficult terrain and the nature of the rocky area.
