Naturally Infused Canna-Honey.

Honey Bees, not to be confused with hornets, play a vital role in our world. The socialist system in which they hold within their hive is not worth over looking either. The hive is an all for one and one for all kind of hive.
First we should address the roles within the bee monarchy so that we may have a better understanding of the vocabulary that will be used in this article.

The Queen Bee

image

The green Dot in the middle is directly over top of the Queen Bee and all her glory.

Hard to find but easy to spot. She is the largest in the hive. Usually on the comb laying larva.

Worker Bees

image

These are the bees in the colony that get shit done. Think of them like the logistics, handymen, and designers of the hive. They have no stingers and sometimes can be found in swarms on tree limbs if their hive has been destroyed.

Drone Bees

image
Notice the stinger at the bottom of the bee.

If you are what you eat, I wonder if bee sweat tastes like nectar?

These are the ones we love to hate. They are the infantry of the hive. They protect and collect. Best to just stay out of there flight path unless you have the best bee cavilar known to man. (Bee suit)

Unlike humans who can survive on there own, though not preferred, bees cannot survive without their colony. The Queen does not hunt, nor do the workers. The workers don't lay eggs and the drones don't construct the hive or transport the nectar within their residence.

Hive Beatles

These son's of Bee's, not literally, are the tornado to a wedding. They can destroy a hive from the inside out and eat all the honey the bee's are storing for the winter and feeding to the larva. The bees will flee before they will defend their home. (They are libral that way.)

I was asked by both @riverflow and @buckaroo that I write a post about the very title when I mentioned a future goal I wanted to achieve. My initial post was an entry into a contest that @naturalmedicine made available to all steemians.

https://steemit.com/naturalmedicine/@cannabisguy420/all-natural-for-the-us-military-061f22ca8f6e6

So here is my attempt in explaining am untapped market of the Cannabis business and what beneficial advantages it has to mankind.

Naturally Infused Cannabis Honey

Now I know that you are most likely wondering what the hell I'm talking about. Honey after all is water soluble which means I'm not scientific enough to seperate the honey from the water and have the Thc-a hold to the honey itself and not just float in the water. Usually with oils you can seperate by cooling and allowing the process to occurred natrually.

Well, I gotta say that this is not a post for the people looking to find some new way to get high I assure you. The process is so simple that all you do is provide the resources for the bees to thrive and let them work it out amongst themselves. They are not going to listen to any of your input anyways. They just don't care. And chances are that their bee hive making abilities are better than all of us combined.

So how does this process happen?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.firstwefeast.com/eat/2016/03/weed-honey

If you follow this link you will see the head line, "This man trains honey bees." It's a lie beyond lies or it's just a sales pitch to get a reader.

I must admit that I have many skills and none of them are training bees to do anything. Millions of years of perfection can't be overwritten by a simple verbal command.

So let's explain why he is wrong and right shall we. Like i said, you can't train bees. Bees are as instinctual as the action of breathing. Drones naturally leave the hive to feast off of whatever vegetation is available within 2 miles; Or 3 kilometers for the cooler folkes out there.

So let's fill that vegetation with straight cannabis and what happens. The bees only have the ability to get their sugars, (THC & CBD's), from cannabis plants. Yeah us.

Now as far as my research has gone, which really hasn't been much because I'm more in this for CBD's than anything; I have not found any way of decarboxylating the Thc to Thc-a. I'm sure where there is a will there is a way, but CBD's are available without decarboxylation.

Thc decarboxylates at about 200°F and is a required process to get that high we all love and crave. Even when you smoke dried flower you decarboxylate the thc when you put the flame to the bud and inhale the smoke directly.

Well how does the CBD and Thc actually get into the honey?

Well let's go over the collection process first. Drones fly out from the hive and like said before collect nectar from the surrounding vegetation. That nectar is drawn up through their proboscis, which is like a cool mega slurpee straw from 7-11, except it's their tounge. They pull the nectar or resin into what is a second stomach reffered to as a honey sac.

The drone then transports the nectar to the hive and a worker bee takes his proboscis and sucks the nectar out of the other bees honey sac. (There really wasn't an accurate way to word that where it does not sound sexual. The next part doesn't sound any better.)

Once the worker bee has sucked all the nectar from the drones honey sac, the worker bees exchange the load between other worker bees until all the water has been drawn out and all that remains is honey. (Told ya so.)

This is how all honey is processed naturally. The only difference are the resources in which the nectar is derived from. Certain flowers have medicinal properties which can be found online and cannabis is the same, only one million times better.

One of the coolest things is that the resin within the cannabis plant is flowing with cbd's. Many of these CBD's are proving to not only be a great alternative medicine, it's becoming so that it should be the first medicine anyone turns too and make the expensive stuff secondary.

If your still lost why the CBD's are in the honey, CBD's can be thought of as mineral deposits within the nectar. Well when the drone initially picks up the nectar he picks up all of the CBD's that come with it as well as all the surrounding water. The only thing that changes in that nectar is the amount of water that remains from there. Each time it has that much less water until all the water has been absorbed out and all that remains is the CBD's and honey!

Why honey though. Honey is a super food. It is often used in facial scrubs salves and in skin moisturizing creams. It has no shelf life either. Honey found in King tuts tomb from over 2000 years ago was still edible straight from the jar.

Along with being a natural antibiotic, this super food can easily be mixed into any drink including straight water for that extra boost in the day. With Infused CBD's it's only that much better.

Any questions feel free to ask away, anyone with additional info I am always willing to learn more. Thanks for reading!

Just wanted to say we miss your bloging!

Right now is busy season at work. In a month I'll most likey be up and running full speed.

Great article! I love the pictures of the bees as well 😃🐝🌱

love almost everything canna infused but not honey.. I do not belive honey bee nore any animal or insect is here for us to exploit and farm for any reason be food or anything..

Now make some canna infused oil Vegan butter tincture i am down but no reason to expoit any animal or insect.

The honey bee does not process the actual cannabinoids or Thc. As for exploiting their work, if that is what you are reffering too, all bee farmers love bees, as dog lovers love dogs.
They take pride in them and many have very strict guidelines for how to handle them. Food is provided in the winter and a safe controlled shelter is available to them.
As far as I can see it's a mutual relationship between bees and people.
I do have a quick question for you... Would you consider bacteria as part of a food chain that could be exploited but should not be?

No the love between a farm and bee or dog is not any different then a farmer saying they love the cow or pig or chicken they smack around and then send to slaughter.

Do bee farmer kill the bee no but they still exploit the bee. No animal's or insect is here for us to exploit for any reason.

Bacteria These organisms are all fine to consume. The reasoning behind this is that these things lack nervous systems and thus are almost certainly not sentient (the ability to suffer or experience pain) in any way. They're pretty much in the same league as plants really.

Plants may not experience pain, but they are concious to the environment around them in more ways then just photosynthesis. They communicate not only among themselves but with animals as well.
Check out this link if you get a chance.

Please excuse my forwardness, I don't wish to be offensive, but rather honest in our open dialoge.
I find that reasoning to be limited by knowledge that we hold on our hands. We learn so much everyday, and much of what we thought we knew, turns out to be entirely wrong.
I think there are things that may have yet to be discovered based on probability alone. I am excited by what we discover.
However, I think by not having a nervous system that does not make them unaware. I find it only reasonable to assume that all living organisms react to harmful inflictions based on ones subconscious will to survive.
Our "nervous system" is our specified layout for the transfer of data. Pain is only a description of our sensors transferring data to a motherboard. Not all organisms are built the same but all do respond to inflictions and almost every species on the world known so far communicates. Just because we don't understand their languages doesn't mean we can't see that it exists.
In fact here is another great article on the communication that occurs between bacteria.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16212498/
To communicate could suggest consiousness in all reality. Which would mean that, as I utilize a honey bee, you utilize beneficial bacteria that process the salts that feed our plants.
I presume that based on the idea that consiousness is the basis for the description of life. At least that is the argument for my description of life for why I support pro choice.

OOOH, this is great. We'd love you to use our banner on posts like this - you can find it in the Discord. We're proud you are writing amazing posts like this under the Natural Medicine banner! I'd love to try this honey.

I placed it in the article.

Loved the write up, and loved the pics. The only thing I would correct you on is your information about drones. Drones only have one function in the hive, that is to mate with a queen. They are the males. It is actually the females who gather the necter, raise the brood, keep the hive clean and sterile, and, well, every other task. These females are the 'workers' of a hive. The males are the loafers...lol.

The way it should be lol... Thank you for the clarification it truley is appreciated. It's been a few years since i had a hive of my own, if you don't use it you loose it kind of thing.
Thanks again.

I hear ya. I kept bees for twenty years. I forget how much I have forgot. Keep the posts coming, I like your style.

Hey man... Got 2 veterans being attacked by other vets. Check out my profile. I'm being flagged and could use some moral support for these Veterans. One is disabled and the other is innocent.

I'm. Being flagged warred by veterans paying for others to flag me...

I'm not flagging back and I'm posting the truth for the world to see...

I'd appreciate it if I can get some veterans to calm the situation down. The community deserves to know the truth and I'm being attacked. As well... And I'm voting you and forgive you for flagging me.

I'm not being bullied into silence and allowing people to abuse a disabled veteran. And now they attacked a veteran that was innocent.

Well I'm going to forgive you. Not mad in the least.

And honestly you can go check my account. Not a single flag back...

And you could have taken the $0.10 bounty paid for @rakkasan84 and I'd not be mad.. In fact I'll send you $0.10 now!
