The various tribes of indigenous peoples of Australia knew that in order to maintain the fertility of the Australian Bush, regularly burn-offs needed to occur.
So too with LOTUS.
In order to maintain and increase the value of LOTUS for its stakeholders, the Natural Medicine community will regularly burn LOTUS on a monthly basis.
This will be done primarily through burning amounts from the following sources:
- Curation & Author rewards from the @naturalmedicine and @uplotus accounts, as well as other official curating accounts.
- Personalised account badges
- Post promotion on naturalmedicine.io
- Contests and competitions
As of this date, the following burn-offs have occurred:
- Rewards — 1,010,542.45
- Post promotion — 181.7616641
- Contests — 150.00
TOTAL BURN-OFF — 1,010,874.22 LOTUS
All rewards from this post (STEEM & LOTUS) will also be sent to @null as a beneficiary
