Hi everyone, I am here to talk about the market activities I performed, which I will discuss below. We organized a Ramadan lecture at my workplace today, where we invited guests from outside in order to give us a lecture so that every participant can benefit from the knowledge.

The lecture lasted for 40 minutes. After the lecture ended, I went straight to the market to purchase what we need in the house. Before I reached the market, I bought bananas and dates with the intention that I would use both of them to break my fast when the sun sets. I bought the bananas at the rate of 800 naira, which is equivalent to 10 steem.

Fresh Tomatoes displayed in the open area

When I entered the main market, called Mandate Market, I first bought fresh tomatoes so that I could use them to prepare food in the house at the rate of 1,500 naira, which is equivalent to 18.8 steem. As I moved further within the same market, I purchased palm oil from my long-time customer, where most of the people normally bought from her because she was a friendly woman.

There is one customer in front of her, so I waited patiently so that she could attend to her. After she is done with the customer, I purchased the red palm oil from her at the rate of 2,500 naira, which is about 31.2 steem. Palm oil is one of the good things I normally used in the house because I prefer it more than groundnut oil. The expert let us know that palm oil contains vitamin A and vitamin E, which are used to promote our eyes in order to see clearly.

Different brand of indomie noodles are well arranged for customers to see

When I am through with what I want to buy, I saw a woman selling Indomie noodles at one stand. I greeted her, and she responded. I asked for the price of the 10 pieces of Indomie noodles that I wanted to buy from her, and she told me the price. I negotiated with her, but she didn't agree. She stood on the actual price, where I later purchased it. I paid her 2,500 naira, which is equivalent to 31.2 steem. I headed home and rested for some minutes, then decided to publish about how my day went on this platform.
