morning flowers and dewdrops

in Nature & Agriculture3 months ago

This morning felt different. It had probably rained during the night the ground was a little wet and there was a smell of earth in the air. When I opened the window a cold wind came in and I feel like going out. The sky was light blue clouds were visible and there and the sunlight was not very strong. I took the camera and went into the garden.

There is a plant in the garden on which Thunbergia laurifolia flowers are in bloom. They are blue in colour, also appear to be a little purple. There were drops of water frozen on them which were shining in the light rays of the sun. When I went closer and saw, it seemed as if there was a small gem inside. The flowers were moving slightly due to the wind, and the drops placed on them started falling down. I stood there watching, there was some peace in that moment.

When I went a little further I saw another plant. Don't know its name, but water was dripping on its leaves also. Perhaps it was the raindrops of the night or maybe dewdrops. Each drop fell slowly from the leaf, making a small sound as it fell on the ground. When sunlight fell on it it would shine for a moment. Seeing that view, it felt as if there was a morning song which only nature sings.

I took pictures of both plants. Didn't think much, just captured whatever I liked in the camera. When I saw the pictures later, I felt that the fragrance of morning was present in them. In some pictures a piece of sunshine was visible, in some it seemed as if drops were hanging in the air.

This morning it was very quiet. There was no hurry no noise. Just the fragrance of the soil the color of the flowers and the glow of the dew. Sometimes it seems that moments like this make life beautiful.
