The Diary Game: A Long Day Of Farm Chores And Family Moments(11:04:2026)

I think my parents were patiently waiting for a heavy rainfall like the one that fell last night so we could go to the farm the next day for farm work because that's what happened this morning when we woke up. We arrived at the farm as early as 7am and my dad and brother got busy with digging the ridges while my mom and I were on the other side of the farm weeding. We worked for some hours and when the sun was out, we paused and returned home, to be continued another day. I was so exhausted on getting home and I felt irritated by the first all over my body that I thought of nothing else than to first take my bath despite how hungry I was.

After taking my bath, my breakfast was served and I went into the kitchen and took it to the parlour where I ate while watching movie. The meal was very delicious but what I didn't like was just the one piece of chicken I was given, I sneaked into the kitchen when I saw my mom heading there and begged for one more piece of chicken and I was given but with a warning that if my brother sees it that I'm on my own. Before I finished my meal, NEPA had ceased the light and I was left with no choice than to go into my room and read but the heat in the room chased me outside.

In the afternoon after some hours of intense reading, I decided to take a break and have my nap but I couldn't close my eyes, I kept rolling from side of the bed to another that I got tired and decided to go to my mom's business place to help her out with sales. I got dressed and went off and though her shop was a bit far from her house, I trekked down. I got to a spot where fruits where sold and admired the big and fresh watermelon there and I knew my mom would buy it if I told her of it because she loves watermelon do when I got to th shop, after some hours, I told her of it and she gave me money to buy it. I returned to the shop with it after I had made purchase, we waited till evening to get home and share it amongst ourselves.

In the evening, I returned home and changed into a church worthy outfit and went to church for choir rehearsal. I arrived late but luckily, our director wasn't there yet so I was relieved. When he arrived, we began our rehearsal and by 7pm, we closed and I went back home. I arrived at the right time as the watermelon was being shared I took my share and sat at a corner and finished it before thinking of my dinner. I knew that the sleep o couldn't have in the afternoon would come early this night so I decided to be ahead and prepared for it by having my bath, dinner and making my diary.
