The Diary Game // 4th February 2026 // The story of a wonderful day spent
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's endless mercy, I am doing very well too. Everywhere around me, there is a sense of gloom, and spending time amidst such busyness, I have truly become melancholic. Setting aside family responsibilities and my teaching duties at the madrasa, I am once again moving forward in an active working state.
Today, after waking up, I put aside all such thoughts and did my class in the morning around eight o'clock. After eating, I went with my colleague's brother to do some photography in the neighboring area of our city. We went to take photos of a railway bridge. So after arriving there, I first did some photography for the Diary Game.
I primarily went there to do photography for an engagement contest focused on the bridge. I more or less finished photographing the bridge and a few days ago I completed my participation there. Anyway, I did some photography there and at the same time had my colleague take some photos as well. That's how I spent some time there.
It is mainly in the suburban area of the city, and there is a fish market called 'Chashi Haat'. I walked around the fish market for a while. I noticed the various types of fish available there, and from what I heard, many varieties of fish can be found there, especially from morning to noon. I took a few photos of the shops where there were lots of fish.
After that, we walked around the market for a while, and I stayed behind and waited for a bit for my colleague's brother because he was busy with photography. Then, without wasting any more time, we went straight into the city and planned to have some light food there since I had eaten only a little in the morning and was feeling hungry now.
We went to a low-key place where there was no big hotel or even a small one; it was just under the open sky where some elderly people made bread using wheat dough. I went there to eat that. They make large, beautiful breads, and you can eat them with vegetables, mashed vegetables, or anything else you want. Additionally, I had a biscuit, which is a tradition from our city of Dhaka and is sold in Bogura.

It was around 10 a.m. at that time. After that, we had some food there for a while, then sat for a bit and chatted with the shopkeeper. Since this is not a local shop, I didn't take any special steps to review it; instead, I talked to the elder there. Because for those who are health-conscious and eat very tasty and healthy food, eating such bread early in the morning is good for them.
Anyway, after spending some time there, my colleague planned to review a gaming house and take some photos. But the shop hadn't opened yet, so we waited for a while. Around eleven, he did the photography, and I went to a market to buy a cover. There was a new mobile cover that looked very nice, so instead of buying it for myself, I bought it for my colleague.
After spending some time there, I decided not to delay any further and headed straight to the madrasa with my colleague brother because by then it was already afternoon. However, upon arriving at the madrasa, I had the opportunity to rest a little, then I took a bath, performed the noon prayer, and ate lunch. After that, as usual, I attended my afternoon class.
After finishing the class until the Asr prayer, I came back to the room and was scrolling through my phone when a student came to me and gave me a box as a gift. Basically, his father had sent a watch from abroad for me as a gift. I felt very happy inside, although I told him, 'Why did you bring this for me?' Receiving gifts feels really good. I am posting a picture of that watch below.

Personally, I have felt that I don't have any relatives abroad or even in the country who have given me anything thoughtful or meaningful as a gift till date. But the father of my student, that is, my student's guardian, loves me so much and respects me so much that he gifted me such an expensive watch from abroad.
I won't give the most importance to the price or value of the watch because the most important thing is that you remembered me and respected me, and that is the greatest gift. Anyway, I spent the rest of the time like this. So this was my day today, a moment that I shared with you all. Stay well and healthy. Allah Hafiz.
Thank You Everyone For My Post Reading
