Nature & Agriculture Contest: Agricultural Dairy Game: Planting in the School Garden
Introducing Our School Garden
Hello everyone. Good hear your doing well over there. I came to tell you how my day in the school garden went. Thank you @mostofajaman for organising this contest so I could bring the world into our garden. As an agricultural Science teacher in our school, I was given the responsibility to manage school garden for practicals.
Before the school resumed last term, I had made proposal to the principal to allow me plant a lot of crops like cucumber, ted pepper and garden egg in the school garden, closed to the school. But I was only granted permission to plant only one crop. That was cucumber.
I swung into action immediately. I bought cucumber seeds, soaked them for two days in water and then used the SS3 students to help me. Every day, I use them to water the seedlings and the young crops.
When the school has closed last week, I was left alone, to take care of the garden. Since I live close to the school, every morning I go there to check out how the young crops are doing. To my amazement, they have started fruiting cucumber fruits. I was so excited to see my effort yielded good results.

Yesterday morning, I went to check how the crops are doing. Behold the cucumber fruits were matured . I plugged them . This is the first harvest. I was so excited that the garden is producing good fruits. I expect more harvest in this summer because I will continue to water the crops till they give maximum yield.
I expect a bumper harvest when the school resumes. I hope to plant garden egg in one side of the garden while I introduce red pepper in one side.
When I got home, I used the cucumber with garbage to prepare salad for my family. That was how my day at the garden went.
Let me invite my friends: @destinedhanik, @tempestinyang and @nsisong2020 to join me in this contest. Thank you for reading my post. Have a nice time.
