The Address of the Universal Prime Estate - Earth!
Mostly, an address typically will include one's country, city, and street. Our planet earth can be seen, in a way of comparison too as an address that has a country, city, and a street. How? Let's see: Earth's country - Milky Way galaxy; City - the solar system which has the sun and its planet; Street - the earth's orbit. This means that our earth has a unique position or location in the universe that ensures life's sustenance. Lets see how so!
Let's start with the Earth's Country or Milky Way galaxy. Here, the earth is located in a perfect region- at a point not too far off or too close to it. This ideal region contains the chemical elements needed for life's support in the right concentration. If the earth were farther in on the Milky Way galaxy, we would stand the potential dangers of lethal radiations and other harms. Farther out, we would suffer the deficiency or scarcity of the life's chemicals elements. Little wonder Scientists call this region "habitable zone".
The city or the solar system. The sun is the ultimate component of the solar system. It is the power house.
In this earth's city, the sun is stable, it emits the right amount of energy needed for life to thrive. This is the reason we have life on earth.
Earth's street or Orbit. The earth's orbit is about 93 million miles from the sun. It lies within a limited path, almost circular, that keeps us from frying or freezing. This orbit also keeps us roughly in the same distance from the sun all year round.
A Neighbour? The earth too has a neighbour, a perfect neighbour- the earth's moon. Why perfect? In size, our moon is larger than other moons in our solar system.
The moon is the principal cause of ocean tide, which in turn plays a vital role in earth's ecology. It contributes also to the stable spin of the earth thereby preventing catastrophic tidal and climatic changes. Yes we all live in a perfect location. Do you not agree with the Scientific American Magazine which says "we live in prime real estate"?
