Could it be a change in the nature of the soil...? I know that blue hydrangeas for example need a soil with a degree of acidity (pH) below 5.5 and the presence of sufficient aluminum, and when that changes, they begin to become purple, and then more pinkish..that what happens to mine as I do not really maintain the acidity, so some flowers are pretty blue, others are purple and some others are pink...it's lovely ❤️
That said, I'm a total ignorant in matter of plants, I just know this detail about hydrangeas 😄
I don't know, maybe that's the case or maybe the water, who knows? Anyway, interesting facts about hydrangea, my grandmother had one but something happened to it and we don't have it anymore.
