In the Embrace of Fog

Soft morning sunlight gently filtered through a sea of fog that surrounded the Silesian Beskids on that day. Upon reaching my destination — Malinowska Skała — a remarkable winter landscape unfolded before my eyes.

Looking across the mountain slope, I witnessed a scene where the fog absorbed warm tones from the sunlight. The same light softly touched trees and shrubs, tightly wrapped in snow. It was a view from which it was difficult to look away.

The photograph does not fully capture the natural beauty my eyes experienced at that moment, yet it remains one of my favorite — and, in my view, one of my best images. The conditions I encountered felt nothing short of perfect, especially since I had not expected anything like this when I left home.
