Morning from Lebanon with Love ;)
Today's morning is from Niha 💙 wishing you a brightful day ahead my friends info of this magnificent fortress follows and stories will be on 🌸
The Fortress of Niha (also known as the Cave of Tyron in Frankish references and Chquif Tayroun in Arabic ones) is an ancient fortress in Lebanon, first mentioned in 975 AD. It is considered as a cultural heritage in the Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve.
It is carved into the rock of a cliff overlooking Bisri and Aray valley and shaped like a cave, hundred meters deep, containing chambers and rooms which were dug in order to shelter soldiers and silos for storing provisions as you will see in the stories 🙋♀️
