An energy efficient de salination solution would really change the game. I believe water will be the cause of a major world war, next large human crisis
We may develop De-Salination solutions which are very energy efficient but even after desalination that water has to be transported through very a long distance which cannot be done without the help major pumping solutions.
Excellent point, a good majority of the planet still will not have access to water. Man this is really bumming me out :) haha
