Animals from Lion Safari in Loxahatchee Florida (Part 4)
Giraffes and More! This was the first time I had ever seen giraffes this close up. They had two different sized giraffes in the preserve that are quite different in size. You really don't appreciate how tall these animals can get until you see them in person!
If you haven't yet, be sure to check out the other images in this series:

There were also dozens of these guys running around. They were surprisingly tame and pretty much let you get right next to them. I suppose they are hoping for some food! The last 2 are a bit grainy because I had to crank up the ISO on the camera. The sun was starting to go down a bit.
It also seemed that between each section of animals there were parrots perched here and there. They seem perfectly content to just sit around on their little branches all day making noises and nibbling on things.
Well that's it for this post. Check out the series finale here:

Who needs animal planet when we got you ;) haha
lol.. Indeed. Except I cheat and go to an animal preserve. hehe. You probably won't catch me hiding in the bushes in Africa photographing wild lions!
LMAOOOO yeah that’s scary. Wouldn’t want to be a lion or cheetas dinner 😂
haha.. not the best way to go out, is it.
Lmao not at all 😂😂😂 really good photos though . I gave you a follow
Nice click sir, All photos are fantastic.
Thanks you, my friend! I'm happy that you liked them.
Oh! Wonderful animal
Cool pics
Thanks :)
How cute animals, but it is so sad that they are closed into cages...
Actually almost all of the animals are roaming freely over miles of land. There are fences surrounding the lion are, but it is a huge area. Not like a zoo. But obviously they would be better off free, however a lot of the animals were rescued from poachers
@nuthman , amazing clicks buddy... keep sharing pictures like this. I'm gonna frame that parrot pic.
Glad you like them my friend! And have fun with the parrot pic! :)
