What is Zeepin Chain?

Zeepin Chain is a blockchain for intellectual property. Zeepin's goal is to promote development, research and advocacy for its decentralised blockchain developed for the global creative industry. It aims to provide the following:

What is intellectual property?

Intellectual property is a right that is had by a person / company to have exclusive rights to use its own plans, ideas, or other intangible assets without the worry of competition. It compasses copyrights, patents, and trademarks. It also includes other types of rights, such as trade secrets, publicity rights, moral rights, and rights against unfair competition. Artistic works like music and literature, as well as some discoveries, inventions, words, phrases, symbols, and designs can all be protected as intellectual property.

What is the problem?

The current process of recording, storing and verifying intellectual property is highly inefficient. Information stored on a centralised intellectual property database is at risk of tampering by database administrators and hackers. Intellectual property is difficult to verify because creatives, authorities and copyright users are unable to achieve mutual trust in an effective and low-cost manner.

ZeeCreate is a decentralised design interconnectivity platform on Zeepin Chain. It uses ZPT tokens as the medium of exchange on smart contracts and is able to quickly connect creative assets and people in need of creative ideas. ZeeFund will enable creative teams to quickly launch project crowd-funding. It is designed to be more open and efficient than traditional fund-raising models.

What is the sale plan?

The total amount of Zeepin Tokens (ZPT) will be 1 billion. Details of the sale of ZPT will be published on the official website closer to the sale date. The sale will last for 12 days from January 18, 2018 to January 29, 2018 based on NEO Blockchain and the NEO smart contract, NeoContract. The hard cap for the sale of ZPT is 700,000 NEO. The number of ZPT to be sold at the sale would be 500 million (50% of the total number).
