Neoliberalism and communism as a festival of misery.

With this week, we can finally say, the festival of misery is ending! I can't say for sure who will win this second round, which has resulted in what we can say with sorrow, pity, and pain: It is finished! (Gospel of John 19:30); but I can say that those who will lose are likely the poorest in our beautiful Peru. In a few weeks, the literary elite of Peru will have forgotten that they voted (and urged us to vote, under threat of dying at the stake of inevitable progress) for the mafia they considered the least harmful. But a mafia nonetheless. In a few months, the regret will come; the inevitable "we didn't see it coming." Let them eat their granola.

Despite the efforts of those who perpetuate polarization, exacerbating a division and lack of reconciliation that dates back to the Fujimori-Montesinos era of the 1990s—a time of institutional hijacking, a biased press, and corruption as a tool of institutionalization—and despite the civil war that forever banished the ideas of armed struggle and communism, cementing a term so perverse that upon hearing it, we hesitate to question whether it's valid to use it against any ordinary Peruvian today.

That's why I will continue sharing with the friends that God has placed in my path: communists, anarchists, liberals, anarcho-capitalists, alpinists, businesspeople, drug dealers, mathematicians, "pastrulos" (a derogatory term for Peruvians), physicists, poets, logicians, Marxists, Zapatistas, Buddhists, vagabonds, rap stars; with all of them on good terms and with a Cuba Libre in hand. Because we are free, let us always be so. But I long to be free.

Because politicians can steal everything from us, except our very grassroots vocation for pluralism, for listening to others without prejudging them as enemies. I summon you all, comrades, to the infinite table where the future is envisioned, to refuse to settle for the deplorable choice between the knife and the bullet. Let us continue thinking, writing, and conspiring against this meat grinder in which hope, love, and reason are crushed daily.

After thirty-six (36) years of economic neoliberalism, and understanding why neoliberal models are no longer followed in the US or Europe and have been completely eradicated, we in our countries, which suffered and copied these models, are now more Catholic than the Pope. We also point out that the Fujimori mafia has governed the country for ten (10) years from Congress, installing and removing presidents, appropriating the National Board of Justice (JNJ), the Attorney General's Office, the Ombudsman's Office (via Cerrón), the Judiciary, the Constitutional Court (TC), etc., approving pro-crime laws, etc. Therefore, with Roberto Sánchez as president, the workers and poor of Peru will continue working to provide for their families, hoping that the new government will repeal pro-crime laws, establish a separation of powers, promote the country's industrialization, encourage private investment without preferential treatment or exemptions, ensure economic freedom while respecting labor laws, invest in the regions and towns that generate wealth in mining, agriculture, livestock, etc., respect national and transnational companies that comply with the law and pay fair and equitable wages, and that the government will make significant investments in education and healthcare. In this way, Peru will gradually improve with the participation of all Peruvians.

I won't discuss specifics for now, because that would only prolong issues that are important but not urgent. Ultimately, we all want the same thing: for this country to improve. May God hear us and guide us with wisdom and peace as we choose.

Con esta semana que podemos decir, ¡por fin!, el festival de la miseria está acabando. No puedo asegurar quién ganará esta segunda vuelta que ha decantado en lo que podemos decir con pena, lástima y dolor: ¡Todo está consumado! (evangelio de san Juan 19: 30); pero sí quiénes perderán pueden ser desde ya: los más pobres en nuestro bello Perú. En unas semanas, los caciques de las letras peruanas habrán olvidado que votaron (y nos conminaron a votar, so pena de morir en la hoguera del progreso indefectible) por la mafia que consideraron menos nociva. Pero mafia al menos. En unos meses sucederá el arrepentimiento; del inexorable "no se veía venir". Que con su granola se lo coman.
Muy a pesar de los señorones de la polarización que agranda una división y ausencia de reconciliación justamente que data de los 90s fujimontesinistas de secuestro de instituciones, prensa chica y corrupción como herramienta de institucionalización, y de la guerra civil que asustó para siempre las ideas de la lucha armada, comunismo y selló un término tan perverso que al oírlo nos alejamos de preguntarnos si es válido o no usarlo en cualquier peruano de a pie actualmente.
Por ello es que seguiré compartiendo con los amigos que el buen Dios puso en mi camino: comunistas, anarquistas, liberales, anarcocapitalistas, alpinchistas, empresarios, dealers, matemáticos, “pastrulos”, físicos, poetas, lógicos, marxistas, zapatistas, budistas, vagabundos, estrellas del rap; con todos en buenos términos y con una cuba libre de por medio. Porque somos libres, seámoslo siempre. Pero deseo ser libre.
Porque los políticos nos podrán robar todo, menos nuestra muy barriobajera vocación de pluralidad, de escuchar al otro sin prejuzgarlo como enemigo. A todos, compañeros, los convoco a la mesa infinita donde se piensa el futuro, a no conformarnos con la deplorable elección entre la cuchillada y el balazo. Sigamos pensando, escribiendo, conspirando contra esta moledora de carne en la que diariamente se tritura la esperanza, el amor y la razón

Después de treinta y seis (36) años de neoliberalismo económico; así como entendiendo del por qué ya ni en EE. UU. ni en Europa los modelos neoliberales se siguen, y se han erradico por completo. Pero en nuestros pueblos que sufrimos y calcamos estos, pero ahora somos más papistas que el Papa. Ofrecemos también que los diez (10) años que, la mafia fujimorista gobierna el país desde el congreso poniendo y sacando presidente, apropiándose de la Junta Nacional de Justicia (JNJ), de la fiscalía de la Nación, de la defensoría del pueblo (vía Cerrón) del poder Judicial, del Tribunal Constitucional (TC), etc. aprobando leyes pro crímen etc. Por ello con Roberto Sánchez presidente, los trabajadores y pobres del Perú seguiremos laborando para el sustento familiar, esperando que el nuevo gobierno derogue las leyes pro crimen, que haya una división de poderes del Estado, que promueva la industrialización del país, la inversión privada sin ventajas ni exoneraciones, que haya libertad económica respetando las leyes laborales, se invierta en las zonas y los pueblos que generan riquezas mineras agrícolas, ganaderas etc., se respete a la empresa nacional y trasnacional que se ajusten a las leyes, que paguen sueldos justos y equitativos, que el gobierno realice una fuerte inversión en educación y en salud. Así el Perú mejorará poco a poco con la participación de todos los peruanos.

No voy a discutir términos por ahora, porque eso sería extender más y más los temas que son importantes, pero no urgentes. En el fondo queremos lo mismo, que este país mejore. Dios oiga y actúe dándonos luces y calma al elegir.
