Strategy, Mystery & Brilliant Deductions — My Thoughts on Young Sherlock

Hello everyone!
Today I want to share my thoughts about a recent series I just finished watching on Prime Video. As someone who enjoys mystery, investigation, and clever storytelling, this show quickly caught my attention.

The series is Young Sherlock, a limited series that explores the early life of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes before he became the famous genius we all know.
Instead of the calm and confident Sherlock we’re used to seeing, this show presents him younger, curious, and still developing his extraordinary analytical skills.

One thing I enjoyed about the series is how it shows Sherlock learning and evolving.
At this stage in his life, he’s still figuring things out. He makes mistakes, asks questions, and slowly begins to sharpen the observation and deduction skills that will later define him.
The story follows him as he gets pulled into investigations filled with mystery, hidden motives, and dangerous twists. Watching him slowly connect clues and uncover secrets makes the show very engaging.

If you enjoy stories where characters rely on logic and strategy to solve problems, this series delivers that very well.

The investigations in the show are not simple. Many of them require careful thinking and attention to detail. The story often leads you in one direction before suddenly revealing something unexpected.

That element of twists and surprises kept the episodes interesting because you’re constantly trying to figure things out alongside Sherlock.
Sometimes you think you’ve solved the mystery — only for the story to reveal something completely different.

My Favourite Moment

My favorite part of the series is the way Sherlock remembers and analyzes past events.
There are moments where he reflects on things that have already happened, replaying them in his mind and noticing details that others overlooked.

Watching him break down those moments and suddenly arrive at a new conclusion is honestly very satisfying. It shows how powerful careful observation and critical thinking can be.

Those scenes really highlight the brilliance of the character and make you appreciate how Sherlock’s mind works.

Overall, Young Sherlock is a very enjoyable series, especially if you like:
•Mystery stories
•Clever investigations
•Strategic thinking
•Unexpected plot twists

It’s interesting to see the early stages of Sherlock Holmes’ journey and how his legendary detective skills begin to take shape.

For me, the series was entertaining and engaging, even though there were a few moments where the pacing slowed down slightly.
Still, it’s definitely a show I would recommend to fans of mystery and detective stories.

My Rating: 7.5 / 10

If you enjoy solving mysteries and watching intelligent characters break down complicated situations, this series is worth checking out.
