In the paper "Metodology for Petrophysical ang Geomechanical Analysis of Shale Plays, Study case: La Luna and Capacho formations, Maracaibo Basin" (SPE-185606-MS). we explain how to estimate critical parameters of formation. Petrophysical analysis: mineral content, porosity associated with mineral fraction and fluids. Geochamical analysis: TOC content, madurity and porosity associated with organic matter. Geomechanical analysis: rock mechanical properties, stress regime, stress anisotropy and natural fracture density. With that critical parameters, we can to determinate the most prospective intervals for completion.
