A drop of dew can make me smile💦. Morning exercise while accompanying friends washing clothes in the river, February 16, 2026
Hello everyone.
Good morning everyone! My activities have started again here because the weather has cleared, a sign that morning has arrived. Last night, the heavy rain brought such a blessing. When I woke up early in the morning, I asked my grandmother, "Did it rain last night?" She said, "Yes, dear." It rained so hard all night. I replied, "I didn't realize it because I slept so soundly."
Early this morning, at 7:00 a.m., I went out for a walk around the highland refugee camp. This was a light exercise to keep my body from getting stiff and heavy, especially since I haven't exercised much lately. I noticed the grass around our refugee camp was covered in dew from last night's rain. Then I picked a beautiful forest flower and plucked it, seeing the raindrops still on the stem. It felt so beautiful.
I went around the refugee area while doing some light exercise, Then I met my friend who was in the same refugee camp, Then my friend invited me to go to the river, Well. What a coincidence, because this morning I also wanted to go to the river, Because when it rained last night, the river water was so clear and I really like the river because the water is so clean, But my friend was not just playing, my friend had a goal to wash clothes in the river, I also followed his footsteps while I was looking for sweat in the morning.

Not long after, about a 10-minute journey from the highland refugee camp to the river where we usually fetch water for our daily needs. I spent some time with one of my friends at the refugee camp, who was washing clothes in the river. Here, I started exploring new variations while gathering material for my daily posts.
Seeing the beautiful and colorful pebbles in the river, it seemed like they were very comfortable and happy living in this river, because the water was so clean and clear. I picked up some of these beautiful small stones in the water. But strangely, when I picked them up and placed them in the palm of my hand, they immediately changed color. While they were still beautiful in the water, when I took the picture, the color in my palm looked very faded. This was either my camera was not good enough or my hands were blurry because they were wet.
Time after time, I spent time by the river. Because today I preferred playing in the river to the rice fields. Besides, today, my friend and I had felt incredibly happy while helping her wash her clothes. And in the river area, many refugee residents washed their clothes and hung them out to dry directly there instead of hanging them in the shelter.

Evening has arrived. Long story short, it's almost 5:00 PM. I've just had breakfast with rice and a simple meal. This saves money because we forage for the food and spices in the forest. I even enjoy it without eating on a plate. I prefer to take it out of the package because it's easier to throw it in the trash after eating. It also saves water, as it's difficult to find clean water in these circumstances.
I also enjoy my breakfast this afternoon with gratitude. Many residents or other communities still don't have access to food, as some refugee groups in the highlands and other areas are struggling to find food, and food prices are very high. Therefore, we are always grateful because every day we search for what is available and what spices in the forest are edible.
