the anxiety and sadness that is felt. Hopefully there is a way
Hello everyone.
I really didn't expect this today. I'm feeling incredibly sad about the news of the situation at home. I've been feeling incredibly sad for the past few days, hearing the devastating news. Everyone will be going their separate ways. My heart is truly broken, as I feel like I've been through some really memorable moments with my friends here lately.
I haven't been friends with the refugee campers for long either. I've only been friends with the good people here, like my girlfriend, for a few months. Because we're being relocated to the highlands, which is even further away than our current refugee camp, my heart is deeply broken at being separated from friends I've considered like family.
I also asked my grandmother, "Grandma, are we capable of facing this trial in our lives?" Many people in Aceh Tamiang have resigned themselves to the loss of their possessions due to the floods caused by irresponsible human actions. My grandmother always gave me strong motivation, always comforted me, always made me laugh, but my heart couldn't take it🥹.
We have nothing, and the people of Aceh Tamiang right now, if we look directly at them, are truly heartbroken. There's one resident in the Aceh Tamiang refugee camp who has lost everything and is in constant need of assistance, especially during the month of Ramadan this year. Just imagine the people affected by the floods. Some have even suffered total loss, as I mentioned earlier.
The people of Aceh need help. Don't ignore us here. All the people of Aceh need help with food, housing, and other things. Help us. We have nothing here, finding work is very difficult, our economy is very critical, even buying a tent for my residence is very difficult because we have nothing. There are also refugee residents who were released just like me, aka ignored.
The Aceh Tamiang aluedram area experienced very heavy rain here last night, and the village is once again covered in muddy water whenever it rains. The situation was similar a few months ago, and even more so now. I can't express from my heart how sad we feel. Even in Aceh Tamiang, some people haven't received anything, not even a refugee tent. I'm truly saddened by the current situation. Government aid has yet to arrive.
Please care for the people of Aceh Tamiang. They still need help. I sincerely hope that all of us, the people of Aceh, receive justice, and don't neglect those of us who have nothing. Job opportunities are critical for job seekers. Open up more job opportunities so that all Acehnese affected by the floods can find work.

Last month, there was sad news from the residents and from us Refugees, hearing that story made my heart feel helpless, They, we were forced to live in a makeshift place, especially according to an old woman, we have nothing left, we only have a handful of strong souls, What makes me sadder, we always eat instant noodles, Especially as the month of Ramadan approaches, the residents said we have surrendered to the Almighty.
All the yards are filled with tents, and soon, this refugee camp will be moved, because this refugee camp will be evacuated further, and residents in the highland and Aceh Tamiang refugee camps are forced to find solutions to do something important, such as buying tents for their next residence, so that their yard can be spacious.

A month ago, I witnessed the plight of the refugee group in Aceh Tamiang. The situation is now increasingly chaotic. Food is overpriced, while the flood-affected residents have nothing. Even buying gas for a week is very difficult because they don't have the money. We are truly at a loss. We need help even now. Especially if the refugee group is going to be relocated🙏.
We are truly helpless. Are tents, even if we buy them ourselves, cheap? Not at all. We have to save more to rebuild our homes. This is the situation that makes us lose our minds. I hope I can stay strong, because my brothers and sisters there are in the same situation. Some of my relatives live in Aceh Tamiang. My grandmother and I must remain strong. I don't want to see her sad. I hope we, the people of Aceh, find a better way.
