The journey to a new life to start working, I want to be independent, hopefully it goes smoothly.
Hello everyone.
Hi everyone, how are you all today? I hope you're all doing well. I want to share a sad and moving moment I experienced. I've left my beloved grandmother and my friends here. Focus on your goals, face challenges patiently. Hard work never betrays results. Working outside the city isn't just about earning a living, but also about maturing and testing my independence.
That morning, before I left, I first asked permission from my grandmother and my friends at the refugee camp. Even my friends were moved by this separation. My heart truly couldn't believe how quickly I was doing it. I wasn't disappearing; I just wanted to live independently so that when I grew up, I would know how to manage myself.
After I asked for permission, my heart felt so relieved that I shed tears of emotion at this farewell to the people who had been so kind to me. I left almost at night, around 4:00 PM Indonesian time, because during the day I had been busy preparing the things I wanted to take to Pekanbaru for work.
I only took a bus, also known as public transportation. I chose a regular bus because I knew that booking a luxury bus would be impossible due to the exorbitant fares. I chose a regular bus based on my budget, as I had brought about 1,000 STEEM to survive there. So, I only took a regular bus because the fare wasn't too expensive. It's not bad, though, as this bus has its own luxury.
During the trip, I had a lot on my mind. I'd sworn I'd only bring 1000 STEEM, especially since it was my first time traveling to the city. I thought, "I have to be careful, and very careful about how I manage this money." Even when I reached the toll road, I heard a passenger ask the driver to rest at a food stall. This would definitely cost money, as the passengers would eat at the stall.
I thought, "Even though the bus stopped midway because it was dinner time, I didn't want to get off, it would be better to stay on the bus." Especially since I'd brought my own food from where I lived. So, one of the things I kept thinking about was managing my money as best as possible.
Taking pictures with Wthasp camera, It's so bad, because the lights on the bus were too bright, it made me feel uncomfortable.
Halfway through the trip, it was already nighttime. In fact, I'd been wearing layers of clothing since the beginning because I can't stand the cold. Even when I was staying in a refugee camp at night, I wore quite a few layers of clothing, because when I got cold, my body immediately caught a cold. In conclusion, from the very beginning of my trip, I was already wearing layers of clothing, making me look fat, hehehe. And there was another thing that made me uncomfortable on the bus.
Because at night, the blue lights on the bus were on, I was a little distracted and uncomfortable. Look, even my phone camera took terrible photos. So I covered my face with the clothes I was wearing to be more comfortable until the end of the trip.

I finally arrived at my destination city terminal at 11:00 PM after being on the bus for dozens of hours, but I want to share a little first. I felt a little nauseous, for some reason. Suddenly, my head felt dizzy and I felt nauseous. Perhaps this was due to the terrible road. Even in Aceh, some of the bridges were in poor condition, and the roads were even worse, due to the devastating floods last month.
So, I arrived at my destination city terminal at 11:00 PM. As soon as I arrived, I immediately notified the person on duty at Alfamart. I simply told them I had arrived. I stayed at my destination city terminal for over an hour, a little longer because I was very hungry. I bought some healthy snacks and a few bottles of water. Then I went straight to the address, because there were several women there who I knew by phone, they were also Alfamart employees. So I didn't hesitate to meet them.
That's my story about this truly memorable journey. I hope I can persevere, and whatever we do, we must love it to ensure a bright future. I hope I can succeed and achieve it.
