Achievement 1 introduction to Steemit

I had planned to make my intro post in the morning but so much happened on my day so I couldn't, it's almost midnight but decided to make it today.

My name is Abena, sending greetings to everyone on Steemit all the way from Ghana. I have to say I've not be more excited to sign up and make a post for any website as I am with Steemit. It's my first time making any content on a blockchain. Heard about it from some friends a while back. I also don't own crypto so this would be my first means of earning it ever.

Before creating my account today, I read about it to know exactly what it was. I also watched a couple of videos on YouTube about it so I have a fair enough understanding of how it works. Still have a lot to learn though but for now, as I keep posting and interacting everyday, I'm certain I'll get the experience. Everything looks new to me right now though.

I consider myself to be a down to earth person who loves to enjoy life by appreciating all the little things that make a person feel happy. I personally think there's so much happiness in the little things in life.

I enjoy reading, watching movies, I'll admit I spend like 1 to 2 hours on Netflix almost everyday. So many interesting Korean series and I usually like the horror ones like Alice in the Borderland and Squid Games.

But it doesn't mean in real life I like chaos. On the contrary I like beautiful things like being around beautiful flowers. I believe flowers are one of the things that help me find calmness and inspiration and to see beauty in life and nature.

So I plan on sharing lots of photography posts on the different flowers I come across. The place I'm at, there's just so many flowers you'll see when you go outside.

In life itself I know I have much to learn but I hope to connect with those who love to appreciate nature as much as I do and of course not just nature lovers, anyone that would want to be friends, I'm very open.

Another great part of my life is the dream I have of becoming a successful business owner someday. I want to build something I could call my own. I always hope to meet and make new friends who can motivate me, keep me going, and perhaps sometimes I will try to write about the journey I have with the new friends I'm about to make here.

I am always open to exploring and joining new communities that are welcoming and unique, so if you know of anywhere I may be able to be a part of, please let me know.
