Achievement-1: My Introduction To Steemit[6-11-2025]

My names are Akaninyene Edidiong and I am from Oku Iboku in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. I am based in Taraba now because I was deployed down there for my job but originally, I am from Akwa Ibom and work took me out of my stated.

I would say I am average in height 5'9 is not bad for starters like me and I am slim as well. I have a light skin originally but work has made my skin turn dark and that is what other people who have seen me lately have said, I believe them because looking at myself on the mirror, I know for certain I have so turned dark skin. I wish I could be deployed back to Akwa Ibom State so I could enjoy the cold weather and serene environment here.

I am a soldier that serves in Nigeria my dear country. I joined the military 2022 when they were recruiting new members and I am a Lance Corporal. It's step by step and I will reach the position of a general. I am called to serve Nigeria my country and I am ready to do so with all my heart excluding nothing, it's worth it at the end.

However, I still have a retirement plan of having one of the biggest poultry farm in my state when I have the resources to set up, but for now, serving my mother land is the core job I was called to do.

I have a friend of mine by name Tom, he was the one that told me about steemit when I visited Akwa Ibom on sick leave and he said I could be recording everything I do here, that was the best part and I bought into the idea, so he onboarded me. I am talking about @tom5050.

I went to Army day school at Ibagwa and then was where I first got my certificate and I commenced my Secondary education at Command school Ibagwa as well. That school really drilled everything in me, thank God for the kind of person I was forged through their discipline. After that, I went on to further my education and I studied Petrochemical Engineering and I obtained my BSc and now a milliary man.

I was born and brought up in the beautiful family of Sir Effion, a Knight in the Methodist Church of Nigeria. My father is a retired army and I am hoping to continue his legacy. We are 4 in number, and I am the only boy in the family, so we have 3 girls then.

I am more of an introvert, I stay indoors when I am not in patrol or do not have duties. I love cooking, even in the brigade where I am now, I cook for my fellow milliary brothers. I love reading also.

I have fully been briefed about steemit and the rules that governs this platform and I promise to abide by them and do all I can to keep here safe.
