Intro post to Steemit Achievement 1

Good evening to everybody on Steemit community. My name is Grace Ama Owusu from the Northern region in Ghana. I come from a humble home, and I wish I could mention my parents but they both died in a tragic car accident when I was about 8 years old.

At the moment I live with my Uncle and Auntie from my mother's side. They do their best to take good care of me and are very caring.

I'm 24 years old but I'm a February born so I'll be celebrating my 25th birthday very soon.

Because of financial constraints I couldn't get into college but thanks to my Aunt's cooking skills, I'm learning very well to be a chef. I aspire to one day make my late parents proud and my uncle and aunt proud when I operate my own restaurant and groceries mall.

But I must confess, because of the lovely people around me, I barely struggle. I don't have the expensive things in life but I'm very grateful because I have peace of mind which some people with a lot of money don't.

Besides working with my mother in her small local restaurant, I decided to learn more about earning online and establish an online presence. I have never been the social media type. If I'm online, I'm mostly watching videos that are funny. I don't bother to post content but my favorite subject when I was in senior high was English. Not because I'm good at it but because when I start writing, I almost always overwrite and really enjoyed doing that. Most of what I wrote was merely beating about the bush but I guess my train of thought is rock solid so I can write all day.

What made me discover Steemit was actually chatgpt. I asked chatgpt for platforms that I'll be eligible to earn because I really don't fancy being famous, there should at least be some value more than people liking pictures. Some like the attention but I'm very reserved both offline and online.

It gave me Facebook and Instagram as number two option of the list but obviously that's wrong because if you're in Ghana you already know we're not even eligible for PayPal. There's serious limitations here. But I studied a little and learned about blockchain. Because of how I was brought up in life, I've learned how to learn on my own.

The 3rd option was Steemit and it was the first time I had seen it. So I was curious and I learned everything about Steemit from chatgpt and I also googled it to understand more.

Since RC is a limitation and will remain so untill I've built my Steem power which is my number 1 objective, I'll hold on with the rest of my blog. After I gain more RC as I keep showing up everyday, I'll write more and post more and engage more. But for the time being, thank you all for reading and I'm looking forward to a good long term experience.
