Achievement-1:My Introduction To Steemit(2/12/2025)

My name is Comfort Sunday Solomon, but most people just call me Comzy. I kind of like that name because it sounds soft and friendly. I live in Uyo, and that’s where I do most of the things I love.

I am a young lady who works as a hair dresser. I enjoy making people look nice. Sometimes when I finish someone’s hair, I just stand back and smile because it feels good to help someone feel pretty. I think if you saw me working, you would notice how happy I get when I try a new style and it actually comes out well.

I was born into the family of Chief Sunday Solomon of Oku in Udoette in Uyo Local Government Area. My family house is the kind of place where someone is always laughing. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. We argue sometimes, like all families do, but we still find our way back to each other. I’m the fourth child, so I’m kind of in the middle. It means I get to look up to some people and also look after others, which is not always easy. I grew up in Uyo. Right now, I am single, just taking my time and learning more about myself.I schoolled at Hillside International School, the one along Oron Road. That was where I learned my ABCs, played during break time, and tried my best to finish my homework even on days when I just wanted to rest. I still remember the classrooms and the friendly teachers who always reminded us to sit properly and listen.

After that, I went to Federal Government College in Ikot Ekpene. It felt bigger and a little more serious, but I slowly found my way. I met new friends, joined school activities, and learned subjects that sometimes made me scratch my head. All these schools helped shape who I am today, step by step. After finishing school, I noticed good jobs, the ones that pay well, were not easy to find. I tried, I hoped, but nothing really worked out the way I expected. At first it worried me a little, but then I told myself that sitting down and waiting wouldn’t help.

That was when I decided to learn hairdressing. I didn’t know everything at the beginning, but I kept practicing, watching, asking questions, and trying again when I made mistakes. Slowly, it became something I enjoyed. Now I’m actually good at it, and sometimes when I finish a hairstyle, I smile because I know I’ve come a long way from those early days.I didn’t discover Steemit all by myself. It actually came through a friend of mine called Mmokomabasi Emmanuel. One day, she told me about this interesting place online where people share their stories, learn from each other, and even grow in different ways. At first, I didn’t really understand what he meant. I just nodded and said I would check it out later.

But she kept encouraging me, telling me that Steemit is full of friendly people and fun ideas. So I finally tried it. And honestly, I was surprised. It felt like walking into a new playground where everyone is doing something creative. That’s how I found my way here, all because a friend thought I would enjoy being part of this community. And now I’m happy I listened. When I think about being on Steemit, I feel a little excited because it’s like joining a new family. So I want to share what I plan to bring here. I may not know everything yet, but I know I’ll try my best.

I want to bring my honesty, my small experiences, and my simple stories about life in Uyo, my work as a hairdresser, and the things I learn every day. I want to share posts that make people smile, think, or just feel a little lighter. Maybe someone out there will learn something from me, even if it’s small. I also want to stay active, support others, and grow with this community. I don’t want to just collect likes and disappear. I want to be someone who adds a little value, even in quiet ways. My pledge is to be real, to be kind, and to keep improving. I will try to bring creativity and consistency, and I’ll respect everyone here, no matter where they come from.
