Achievement-1: Introducing Myself To Steemit Platform(02:12:2025)
My name is Idara Etim, but many people like to call me Darlington, and I kind of enjoy hearing it because it sounds fun and friendly. I am a young lady who lives in the lovely city of Uyo. One thing you should know about me is that I am a hair dresser. I love making people look beautiful. Sometimes I even practice new styles on my friends or on my doll heads when I am feeling playful. When I see someone smile after I make their hair, it makes me feel proud. I joined Steemit because I want to learn, share my little world, meet kind people, and maybe show some of my hairstyles too. I hope you like my posts and I hope we can all be friends here.
About My Family
I want to tell you a little bit about my family because they are a big part of who I am. I was born into the family of Mr. Augustine Etim from Mbak Itam III in Itu Local Government Area, and I feel happy saying that because it reminds me of where I come from. We are not a very big family, but we are close and we care about each other a lot.
I have two sisters, and they make life interesting. Sometimes we play, sometimes we argue over small things, but at the end we always laugh again. I love them, even when they act a little stubborn. I am the second child, so I am in the middle. It feels funny sometimes because I get to learn from the older one and still guide the younger one too.
my sister and me
I grew up in Uyo, it is where most of my memories live. I am single, and for now I am just focusing on my work, my dreams, and my simple little life. I hope you enjoyed reading about my family.
Academic Background
I want to share a little bit about the schools I went to, because they helped shape who I am today. When I think about my school days, I remember small classrooms, friendly faces, and teachers who always tried their best to help us learn.
I started my education at NUCO School, which is located on UDOETTE Street. That place feels like where everything began for me. I learned how to read better, write neater, and even make new friends without feeling shy. Sometimes I still remember the playground and how excited I felt during break time.
After that, I continued my studies at Royalty Special College on Ebong Essien Street. Going there made me feel a little more grown up. The teachers were kind, but they also wanted us to take our work seriously. I learned many new things and even discovered some subjects I enjoyed more than I expected. It was a place that made me feel confident, like I could actually do something good with my life if I tried. Both schools helped me grow, little by little, and I’m grateful for everything I learned along the way.
How I Knew About Steemit
Today, a young girl came to introduce one of my colleagues to the platform so I decided to join as well because I have been seeing my other colleague take lots of pictures everyday and write about her day and it is such an interesting thing to do so I asked that I also be induced to the platform too.
What I Will Bring to Steemit / My Pledge
First of all, I want to share my stories, ideas, and experiences with you. I am a hairdresser, and I love helping people feel beautiful and confident, so I might share things about hair care, styles, and even little tips that can help others.

one out of thousands of my work
I also want to bring kindness and positivity. I believe that Steemit can be a happy place where people learn from each other and feel encouraged. I promise to be respectful, honest, and friendly with everyone I meet here. Another thing I hope to bring is a little bit of fun and creativity. Life can be serious, but I think we all need to smile and enjoy the little things. I want my posts to be interesting and maybe even inspire someone to try something new or feel happy about their own journey. My pledge is simple: I will share, learn, and grow together with the Steemit community. I am excited to meet new friends, make connections, and enjoy this amazing adventure with all of you!

Welcome to Steemit my good colleague, you know I'm also new here so join me let's explore this wonderful platform. I will leave you with the words of my mentor "consistency is the key" so make sure you show up here always and also avoid anything that goes against the platform rules and regulations.
