Achievement-1: First Time Introducing Myself On Steemit

My names are Thankgod Akpan and I am from Ibiono Ibom local government area of Akwa Ibom State. I wasn't born in Akwa Ibom State, I was born and raised in Awka, Anambra state. That was where I based till I had admission in University of Uyo.

I am neither fair nor dark, so I am really in between. Today I might look a little fair and tomorrow I might look a little dark, so somehow I don't always know what to tell someone but to keep it simple, I do tell people I am chocolate in complexion.

I attended Marina nursery and primary school, Awka. It was where I sat for my First School Certificate and then I proceeded to attend Bright Star College of Art and Science and there was where I got my Senior School Certificate. God being so faithful, I was offered admission last year November to study Urban and Regional Planning in the University of Uyo and I am currently in my first year.

I am the first son in the great Gabriel Nyong Akpan family of the Ibiono Ibom. Though I have gone to my village just once, now that I am offered admission. I have two siblings and I am the second son and my eldest brother is in Abuja. My Junior sister is a student and she is still in Secondary school.

Both my mum and my dad are still alive and up and doing. They have been the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am grateful for their lives and whenever I count my blessings, they are the top of the list.

I am an introvert, to be very honest, so I read so many books, I have gotten so addicted to reading fictional stories and one day, by the grace of God, I would love to write my own book. I am also a good cook, I know it's somehow, but I can really cook very well.

When I packed into my new compound when I had the admission last year, I met someone who I now see as my elder brother, he has been so focused on his phone and basically works from home, so I told him I was opened to learning any digital skills and he told me about steemit, I opted on it today. Thank you @megareigns for this opportunity.

I have pledged to keep steemit safe and follow every laid down rules inorder to maintain the decorum in the community. Thank you all.
