The Dairy Game : An Ordinary Day That Felt Just Right.
Hello my Amazing people
I hope you are all doing great today.
Its the first day of the week again ,and honestly, weekends always ends too fast.Yoir girl had to get out of bed, fully aware that time doesn't rewind.Whether today turns out short or long,we'll find out together.
Once again, it's your girl @esttee
Today started quietly ,the kind of quiet that feels like the world hasn't fully woken up yet .
I woke up with no rush, no alarm-screaming at me, just that calm moment where you stretch and decide how your day should go.
The first thing on my mind ? Food.Real food ,comfort food .so I headed straight to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
I made fried plantain, soft on the inside , slightly crispy on the outside . While it was frying ,the aroma filled the whole space and suddenly the kitchen felt warmer, happier.
There's something about frying plantain that feels therapeutic . Slicing them carefully , listening to the gentle sizzle in the oil, flipping them at just the right moment .By the time I was done ,breakfast wasn't just food anymore , it felt like a small win for the day .I ate slowly, enjoying every bite, reminding myself that simple moments like this matter .
After breakfast, the day unfolded naturally. I didn't have a strict plan.but somehow everything flowed.I took time to organize a few things around me , nothing dramatic, just small arrangements that made my space feel lighter and clearer .
It's funny how cleaning a little corner of your environment can also clean a little corner of your mind .
Later, I stepped outside a bit, just to feel the day.the air was calm and the people were moving at their own pace. I watched life happen without rushing into it . That moment reminded me that not every day has to be loud or busy to be meaningful.
Something interesting happened when I stopped to reflect , I realized how often we underestimate "ordinary" days . No big events, no major announcements, yet here I was ,feeling content . I spent some time thinking , writing and letting ideas wander freely. Creativity showed up quietly, not forced, not pressured.
As the day progressed, I allowed myself to rest when needed and move when I felt like it. No guilt,no overthinking .By evening,I felt grateful not because the day was extraordinary ,but because it was balanced.
Today taught me that joy doesn't always come from big achievements. Sometimes, it starts with fried plantain in the morning and grows through small , intentional moments.
And honestly, that was enough.
Bye for now.....
