My Busy Friday: A Day of Work, Worship, and Blessings in Ramadan
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh!
Today was a special day – Friday, the blessed day of the week. I want to share my entire day with you, from early morning Sehri to evening iftar. This is how my life goes during Ramadan.
🌅 Early Morning – Sehri and Fajr Prayer
My day started before dawn. I woke up for Sehri, had a light meal, and prepared for the day ahead.
Exactly 15 minutes after Sehri, I left for the mosque. The streets were quiet, but my heart was full of peace. I reached the mosque and prayed Fajr with the congregation. There is no feeling like starting your day with Allah's name.
🥛 At My Milk Shop – Making Yogurt (Dahi)
After Fajr, I came home and rested a little. Then, about half an hour later, I headed to my milk shop.
The first thing I did was open the shop and start preparing milk for yogurt (dahi). This is my daily routine – boiling the milk, cooling it, and setting it for dahi. It takes time and care, but Alhamdulillah, I enjoy my work.
While I was busy with this, fresh milk arrived for home delivery. I quickly delivered it to the customers who had ordered.
🔧 Fixing the Fan – Summer is Coming!
After delivering milk, I noticed that my shop's fan was broken. And as you know, the heat is slowly increasing day by day. Summer is on its way!
So I had to stop my work and fix the fan. Without it, customers would suffer from the heat. It took some time, but finally, I got it working again. Now the shop was cool and comfortable.
🕌 Jumu'ah Mubarak – The Blessed Friday Prayer
Soon, it was time for the most important part of Friday – Jumu'ah prayer. Friday is a blessed day, and I love it the most. So I closed the shop early and rushed to the mosque.
I reached early and prayed with full concentration. The sermon (khutbah) was beautiful, reminding us of Allah's blessings. After prayer, I made dua for all of us. May Allah accept our prayers, Ameen.
😴 Rest After Jumu'ah
After coming back from the mosque, I was tired. So I took a nap for about 2 hours. Rest is important – it gives you energy for the rest of the day.
🌆 Evening – Back to the Shop
When I woke up, I went back to the shop and opened it again.
This time, I brought out the dahi and milk that I had kept in the freezer earlier. I placed them on a wooden platform in front of the shop so customers could see them easily. In this heat, it's important to keep everything fresh.
⏰ Asr Prayer – Never Miss It
As the clock struck 5:00 PM, it was time for Asr prayer. I closed the shop immediately and went to the mosque. This is something I never forget – when the Adhan is called, I leave everything and go to pray.
After prayer, I quickly returned to the shop and opened it again.
🌙 Last Hour and Heading Home for Iftar
For the next 40 to 50 minutes, I served customers. People were buying milk and dahi for their iftar meals.
Finally, it was time to close. I had to reach home before iftar. So I packed up, closed the shop, and headed home.
🤲 Gratitude to Allah
This was my Friday – a day full of work, worship, and small challenges. From fixing a fan to praying Jumu'ah, from making dahi to serving customers – every moment was a blessing.
Alhamdulillah for everything.
