Achievement 1, Intro To Steemit, 26|03|2026

I'm happy to join this community and I would like to start by introducing myself to everyone. My name is Kwame Asiedu and I believe that everyone on earth as long as they've reached an age where they can have remember the events of their life and have strong memories, then they have a story to tell. That's why making friends is a fun thing for me, I get to hear a lot of people's back stories.

I guess that's what I'll be doing on this platform, sharing my stories, because that's the main purpose of a story, to be shared. If we were to keep all our genuine thoughts away, and die with them, they will lose their value. Of course there are things we keep private but to know that there's a platform out there that allows me to express myself freely without fearing that the owners or CEO of the company will ban me just because of my opinions or what I agree with, I see that platform as a blessing.

Free speech and free expression is a blessing that needs to be protected and I see that this platform is doing it perfectly well. I have high hopes.

I'm a young guy from Ghana and was born in Takoradi. I've lived in Accra my whole life but I believe that one day I'll get the chance to travel outside the country. I'm a big football fan and I don't know yet whether there's more Ronaldo fans or Messi fans on Steemit but I'm team CR7 for life so any Messi fan should follow me so we can argue all day. I also love tech, especially watching the tech reviews, cars, phones and the cool gadgets they're building for the future.

I believe there's hope for humanity so long as we can work together with a common goal. Freedom is still something we have to fight for in this era, it's sad that that's the case because we should have been civilized enough a long time ago, to allow freedom and prevent wars but I know systems like Steemit which allows free decentralized speech has a role to play in the future.

I'm also fairly new to crypto so that means Steem might be my best crypto. I hope to do well and look forward to meeting everyone here. Thank you for reading. I'll prepare my next post tomorrow.
